A thing I have been thinking about a while.
Allmost all music is 4/4 based. Sometimes 6/8 but thats
about it.

Do you know any tracks that dont have the standard four to
the floor?

yeah æ has some..

Dropp (EP7) has 7/8
Cfern (Confield) has 6/8

when using 6/8 you risk putting some sort of 'swing' in it
.. if you know what i mean :)

Well, that's the original title for the track. And tho I'm
not too clever at counting beats, it certainly seemed close
(in my fucked up way of doing it). Download the track and
give it a try if you want. The beat comes in on the heavy
part, after the sombre intro.

ophecks - use your hand to tap

1, 2, 3, 4 repeat is 4/4

if you do it faster and two hits in the time you would do
one (double time) thats 8/4

(1,2) 1 (3,4) 2 (4,5) 3 (7,8) 4

does that make sense?

well a lot of jazz is that fast or faster - it sounds cool
depending on how you like your music

HOWEVER - its hard to mix (djing) stuff that fast sometimes
