for some people it isn't even about the music when they bid
on such a rare item, just for the sake of collecting/owning
it (same with AB5, sure it has nice tracks.. but the $1795
was purely paid to own that rarity) ..

i'm like that myself too, unfortunately i do not always have
the money to bid on all stuff :\

id pay about 7 single dollars for it if it was offered in
stores

id? id software? id wouldn't pay anything for it, I doubt
they listen to such kind of music. And have you seen the
stolen Doom3 alpha? The theory is that they must be
listening to Zeiss Contarex repeatedly all the time.

warp would make a shitload of money by giving it a proper
release. why dont they do it?!!

By Autechre's admission, it's not even worth releasing. So
Booth and Brown have probably asked Warp NOT to distribute
it...

There are very good .mp3s of it anyway, so I'm not bummed
over it...
