as far as Im concerned Massive Attack have allways been
good.. . whereas Tricky has gone steadily down hill since
Maxinquaye. ..

hey Flea.. . do you have a capture card.. . because I
remember seeing that episode of Father Ted just the other
week.. . good stuff. ..

my fav tricky album would be angels with dirty faces, so i
dont exactly agree he's going down hill, perhaps blowback
was a bit let down...

hmm..I love PMT..heh..and Angels with Dirty Faces..as
well..so dark and raw....
He has been a lot more prolific than Massive Attack..so even
with misses his hits with me out number those ofthe
Attackers..

no no capture card..this avatar is from a sound file
website..a wealth of father Ted stuff for the fans:)

link

I d/led all the samples they had and burnt them onto a
CD..it's choooice:)

Maxinquyae is great but Angels is Fantastic..it's raw dirty
and powerful...

Blowback was a bit weak..but so was a lot of Mezzanine to
me...and he's done three other great albums in the
meanwhile..

:)

hmmm.their both crap
i especially hate Massive Attack as they are trying to get
me to part with £18.50 just to see them live. Fucking rip
off merchants.
i suppose i did pay £17.50 this morning for a Whte Stripes
ticket......but thats well worth it.

I would say it's a dead heat - they're both equally great.
Some days i like tricky and other days i like massive attack
(remember they had to change their name to massive during
the gulf crisis). But if i average out the days i have to
say it's pretty 50:50 - i love them both.

Juxtapose has some really good songs..but its a bit too
polished and clean sounding for my taste...the reason I like
Tricky and prefer him to later Massive Attack..is that
gritty loose erratic..down in the basement with a 4 track
and too many drugs quality which he started to loose on
Juxtapose..

No contest - Massive Attack

Tricky is the worst live show I've ever seen. The
pretentious cunt.

I have to say I prefer Massive Attack's stuff.

Tricky's dad owns a pub near where I live. You can
occassionaly see Tricky walking around town (not hard to
spot- he's tall enough ;) ).

for me, mezzanine outdoes any tricky album. so i think id
go with massive attack, but it's a tough choice.

but i think tricky lost it after angels, juxtapose was
so-so, and i even brought back blowback at the store (which
i RARELY do). Premillenium tensions on the other hand...
wow!

i wonder why 3d is all alone now?
they used to call him tricky kid....
dont really like his last two albums though...but i still
prefer the trickster..ceri, tricky is v small.

wouldnt it be great if tricky decided to help out 3d, since
he's the only original member who composing for massive
attack?

Tricky is not small!!! You're confusing him with 3D perhaps?
Tricky is very, very tall.
