No I am from Beverwijk (loosely translated into beaverville) I buy most of my records in Amsterdam at Boudisque (because I'm lazy) and if I'm up to it I walk all the way to Distortion records or Get records.
How come you think I'm from Eindhoven?
Stom eigenlijk zo in het Engels, maar wel zo beleefd niet? ;-)

i thought you were from eindhoven, 'cause at your site you have some 'what's the weather like in eindhoven'-link..
but beaverville i also nice :) many years ago (when i was into gabber/hardcore music) i bought me an 'aussi' on the 'beverwijkse bazaar' haha :P sold it about one year later
ja best stom om het in het engels te doen, maar wel zo beleefd ja, ik baal ook altijd als die zweedse idioten in het zweeds gaan praten :)

Ah dutch threads, i always like those ;-) There really are alot of dutchies here... always surprises me. Or is that just me? I think in comparison with other countries there are relatively alot of us here. (ofcourse there are probably more americans... but america is so much bigger... etc etc etc... you get the picture).

I think we Dutchies are quite close to the core since most excellent braindance, IDM, great elctronic music or whatever you name the doggie originates from our English or Scandinavian neighbours.
We aren't doing bad ourselves with Speedy J, Funkcarma, EOG and Phako but for us all those great gigs are tooooo far away to get to on our wooden shoes.

This makes me feel left out.
I found a Dutch Bar Mitzvah invitation the other day; my cousins live there...
hierbij nodigen wij:
[names in my family]
uit voor de lunch ter viering van Daniel's Bar Mitswah op zaterdag 25 november 2000 van 14.00 tot 17.00 uur in Le Meridien Apollo te Amsterdam.
RSVP voor 11 november 2000.
It's not as though I don't understand it though, all bar mitzvah invitations are hte same.
