I was just thinking...

If I cannot hate a dead person
Can I love it?

If I can, is there such thing as love?

a few.

I think I understand what you mean.
Some people I miss, I am sad about because they went. But I
remember the good things, and the bad things about people.
With some people I am happy that they're gone, because I
hated em.
But I dont hate em anymore, cause they're gone.

I dont know if I can hate dead people.

Is there such thing as love.

Maybe I look at this too cold, but I see love as possession.
If you love someone that person is yours. (even when it's
not a girlfriend or boyfriend).
They become like property, ehm.. You depend on them somewhat
and when they die, or just go away and never return, you
feel bad. I think love and ehm... egoism/posession (dont
know how to put it in english) are very close.

But i'm looking at this very basic now.

I would like the defects to stay away from this topic if
they cannot contribute anything to it.

C738, Interesting I have never looked at it from that
perspective. For me it would simply be an attachement,
while it is possible to be attached to (that is, love) the
possesions.

On the other hand, when you consider an attachement to a
dead person, the dead person is not in anyone's possesion
and yet there is the love and attachment towards it.

people still love and hate kurt cobain, napoleon and other
celebrities, even after they died... why can't you love/hate
dead persons?

and how does it involve love in general?

is every love possessive?
i'm not sure at all about this.

love can be very dangerous, this, i know.
apart from that, i barely know anything about it.

DOUGAL: We were just talking about that fella, Curt Cobane,
he was from America. Imagine blowing your head off with a
shotgun. God, how did he manage to survive that?
FR.TED: Eh. He didn't! He died.
DOUGAL: Oh right.
