i've just started to experimenting with fruityloops and i
can't add effects to the patterns.
i'd like some distortion but it says:fruity dist is not a
generator is not to be dropped onto a channel......
forgive me i'm just a beginner.

there is a number at the top right on each channel cfg's,
you can choose 1-16 for the effect sends
