i like his take on this........it's comforting somehow =0)

Simplicity doesn't mean to live in misery and poverty. You
have what you need, and you don't want to have what you
don't need.

-Charan Singh, mystic (1916-1990)

yea i especially like that quote because in essence poor
people dont have money to get them crazy with greed and all
and they delight in the real things in life, friendships,
love or just a sunny day.. yet its good to have some money
for survival means

agreed

you know the paradox is how wealthy people are on the
average not happier than average folks because they have
lots of money. in fact i think (based on some personal
observation) they have MORE problems, brought on by the very
thing that they have most of.....MONEY!

tis strange

hehe, k. i'll not drop a quote daily, but when one grabs
me, i'll think to bring it here. what you mean about
reports *head scratch* ? i do like to read and take down
quotes. for today i share this timeless wisdom, a favorite
of mine that i have on hand for copy/paste that is relevant
in the moment:

?Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our
deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is
our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask
ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and
fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child
of God. You playing small doesn?t serve the world. There
is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won?t feel insecure around you. We were born to make
manifest the glory of God within us. It?s not just in some
of us; it?s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the
same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence
automatically liberates others.

-Nelson Mandela, 1994 inaugural speech

" And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the
same."

im not sure if uve covered this but- rich people are upset
coz they have nothing to reach for, they are just existing
and waiting to die....poor have something to look forward
to, an aim in life, and thats what being a human is all
about

i love to read but i spend too much time reading articles
and web pages and not enough on books. very little focus
here. i do like to write a lot though. often i can't sleep
so i just write until i'm burnt.

"Sickness would not have kept me away from this one. If I'd
been dead, I would have had them bring the casket to the
ground, prop it up in the stands and cut a hole in the
