you'll have to ask tolstoyed about this... he's the susumu
yokota-expert on the board ;-)

But as i understand it, he has many different styles on all
of his releases.

'grinningcat' also had some very goos tracks on it, but some
shit ones too, not as consistant as sakura...

'magic thread' is supossed to be good never got round to
hearing it...

i heard bits of his new one 'boy and the tree' it sounded
quite lame.

so brilliant

about his other releases:
you being an autechre fan, you'd probably like "magic
thread" album
grinning cat is his most deversed album regarding
styles-check this tracks if you can:-king dragonfly
-card nation
-cherry blossom
-flying cat
the boy and the tree is his latest album- this is the least
electronic of his albums, very etno oriented, probably my
fav yokota album at the moment

he has some house albums which are also great, but you might
want to check out those above first

and surrounded hehe, im no expert really, i just talk about
music that i like (taken from your thoughts) :)

magic thread if i were you
but they're both great

you can here samples from both albums
on amazon.de ynd then decide
check those grinning cat tracks i recommended up there

and i forgot to mention his image 1983-1998 album, this one
is also very nice, especially if you like easy listening
stuff and ambient
