this is a great icelandic electronic band that i think you will like very much. they have released two albums "nature is not a virgin" and the recent "made for market" (on thule records, same label as múm has) their sound can be compared to sigur rós gone IDM & the mood of Portishead. very emotional, sometimes dark music. here's 128kb/s mp3 of two of their strongest songs -this one has got glitch beats and very emotional vocals. "Ampop deliver a single that is steeped in the austere, beautiful, textured electronic pop music that should be all the way from Iceland" -Ian Fletcher -again, very emotional. their most famous song. popular in iceland. website: ampop = ambient pop |
