i dont know a lot about this miami-based (am i right?)
label. are they releasing only glitch-style stuff like
richard devine or otto von schirach? could you recommend me
some good starting points (tracks not albums) with otto's
and phoenecia's music?

richard devine IS signed to schematic, so they actually
release his stuff. "lipswitch" is a joint release of Warp
and schematic.

try any track of "brownout", Phoenecia's last LP.
especially: melfad, eyebrow, suite d256, grrl trrrbl

i totally agree with qrtr there... "brownout" is one of my
top 10 fave. albums of all time. Out on its own really......
why not try their stream on Warp Radio at warprecords.com?
I recently got their Warp release "Randa Roomet" EP ....
another gem.

Phoenecia - What Qrtr said, but get JPace as well. Every
track on Brownout is strong.

Otto Von Schirach - Mr. Egyptian Hologram; Educating The
Sound Barrier; Lunatic Nitrates. Lunatic Nitrates sounds
like trees coming alive. You will think the sounds are
coming right out of your speakers.

thx i will check out some of this pieces. i ve heard
something by otto and it was extremely glitchy but funny
too- i think devines music lacks for sense of humour and
emotions.

My favorite thing to listen to right now is Otto von
schinach!

I love his stuff

Otto and Richard's stuff are what I listen to most from
schematic.

I love their compilations too! Lily of the vally, Ischemic
folks, house of distraction... killer stuff

They upcomming releases look awesome aswell, otto has an
album Chopped Zombie Fungus and an Ear Juice synthesis ep
coming out, richard devine has new full length, called G4 to
the floor coming out, dance tunes, I CANT WAIT!

I need to check out some of the other artists too, I like
Phoenecia but I need to check out more of his stuff, and
more from the other artists, Dino Felipe, Nick Forte,
Kiyo...

see the new releases comming

I am excited!

if you like glitchy stuff, and mash up remix's check out
dsico, he does some great glitch type stuff too,
killer stuff, I like his new remix, and his dirty remix the
best probubly...

Yay!

Otto's "Mr. Magnesium Falls in Love" is awesome.
I'm not big on many of his songs from 8000 bc... I think
they're a bit drab.
