I don't because I'm worried it's a bunch of people with Yahoo and a Chessmaster program open - I want to play a human but I'm worried I'm playing a computer.

Yeah, I heard there are a lot of people using programs. That's why I usually play timed games. It's difficult for them to type in every move if their clock is running out.

i've played yahoo chess before, it was fun. not as good as REAL chess, however there are so few people that play chess these days. at least in my social circle.
i'm gonna start a chess game via email with marlowe.....dunno how it will go. it's prolly gonna take months to finish.....ahhahha.....but i'll try it ONE time and see how it goes.

Chess really needs to be played face to face. I love to intimidate my opponent verbally and with body language.
I'm good for a quick game of Hearts or Spades on Yahoo, though.

Yeah, and the old handshake at the end beats "gg". And that's if you're lucky. On yahoo people like to boot you from their table if you win.

A friend of mine used programs to make his moves. He got busted several times by the master players. They could even say which program/chess computer he used!

but Yahoo is also good for chess.
Im a student and chess is a semi-profession for me so Im getting a lot of money and travelling from the sport. Would be be fun to know if there are any other good chess players on this messageboard :-)
