:-( too bad. I can't really tell you what it's about... it's only funny because they found *just* the right actor to do it. It's a trailer for a movie about jerry seinfeld! But in true jerry-style, the entire trailer doesn't even mention the movie, shows no footage of it and doesn't have jerry seinfeld in it :-D |

It's like a trailer about nothing! ;-) The movie won't be like the seinfeld-series though, it's more about jerry's standup-comedy-act. But whatever :-p It's JERRY SEINFELD! I'm sure it'll be great, and i found this trailer very promising :-) |

i saw this movie. really good, quite funny. its amazing how little self esteem Seinfeld seems to have for a comedian who is so well known. a very candid look inside a comedians life. the young guy, orkin, was annoying as hell though. reminded me of Kenny Banya "thats gold jerry!" |

I always wondered what that guy might look like, his voice does seem to feature in alot of trailers. i hope it comes to europe soon! :-D And hey zaphod, if it's a look inside jerry's personal life... do you get to see the *real* george and kramer? Because i always heard those characters were based on his real best friend and his real neighbour. That would be amusing :-) |

oh my god! That is really cool :-D I can definitely imagine that guy doing some of the things Kramer did... he looks uh... mad enough for it, LOL In the Q&A-section he sounds very kramerish ;-) And i just stumbled on it by accident Sido :-) But it's still a fantastic trailer... brilliant idea... simple, yet brilliant. I wish i would have thought of it myself. It IS really crazy that you hear his voice in almost every single trailer though... just listening to it instantly makes me feel like i'm at the cinema :-D But imagine knowing that guy in real life though... i wonder if he says everything in everyday-life with the same deep and dramatic voice? ;-) |

you know the real George is Larry David, the creator of Seinfeld. just watch Curb Your Enthusiasm to see how much this guy is like George. and Comedian doesn't go into Jerry's personal life, but its a very revealing portrait of his fragile side when performing, and its really interesting. |

damnit, i wanna see that Curb Your Enthousiasm show! I've see it mentioned several times on this board already, but it just doesn't get aired over here :-( Sadly! Maybe one day eh :-D Tv-series usually take a couple of years to make it across the antlantic. I bet Comedian will go straight to the video-rental stores... i'd be surprised if it was shown in any cinemas here. But i'll rent it, anyway. |
