I recently got the album snivilization which I ordered from
isolation tank some time ago. I dont know much about orbital
but this is a really good listen. anyone know of some other
good orbital albums I should check out?

mortal combat.

You want good Orbital? Get it all. Its amazing, the best
ones I think are The Brown Album, Insides and the Green
Album. Amazing stuff, I got it all... had to.... couldnt
resist Orbitals sound.

Insides is reallly emotional stuff. You should own it. The
two last trax( can't remember the names) is some of the most
beatiful music I've ever heard.

I just got the brown album with the peel sessions on CD2
(never seen this version before)

The brown album is sooooooooooo good. It's full of energy
and full on rave moments (kind of) but still really chill
and atmospheric. Its been years since I heard it.

i agree its their best album. you're spot on about the
energy. and i LOVE remind. the peel sessions is also
excellent, they were really on form around then. in sides is
also pretty good, possibly the last decent release they
did...

middle of nowhere is dreadful! except for the john craven's
newsround sample & the style remixes which arent on it.

the layo & bushwacka! mixes of funny break are also
excellent but thats not really orbital.

I saw them live in about '98 and they were amazing, really
good sound system, amazing visuals and the set was expertly
put together, a full on dance gig. and they finished with
satan, big nukes going off behind them on the video screens
etc.
