nope. i don't own any acid mothers temple but i've heard a bunch of random tracks. i find it a bit horrifying at moments that don't make up for the moments i can enjoy, but they are great. do you listen to the boredoms?

they were known for all out no wave fart synth noise junk... which had it's appeal for many, but i never got into it. they made an unnexpected fairly quick metamorphasis and the latest album 'vision creation newsun' is imo and many fan's opinions far beyond anything previously released from them, and it's among my favorite albums. basically a really intense psychedelic worship of the sun. i guess you wouldn't necessarily like it just because you listen to amt, but many are fans of both. tracks 2 and 5 are standout, but the whole thing is the goods.

if you're into that stuff the boredoms seem to have mastered it over a fairly large number of releases.
all of vision creation newsun is great, good for listening begining to end for the full experience. i guess tracks 1, 2 and 5 would be good to hear. if you're into that album the band ooioo, formed by the boredom's drummer yoshimi, do a very simlar style, and very well. their albums 'featherfloat' and 'gold & green' (or is it the other way around?) are awesome. from boredoms i also recomend downloading the track 'Aug'99 Live (Total eclipse + grand cross), Uoredoms'.

dunno, but i'd be interested to know. a google search on {"kyoshi izumi" boredoms} returned nothing. they are very electronic. eye, the head boredoms member is very much into electronic music... did a nice remix album of vcn, also a dj set of his going around on slsk.

...i don't know them but i want to check them out - any recommendations?
(not much of their records seem available though... "Absolutely Freak Out (Zap Your Mind!!)" has a good rating on AMG but it's out of print everywhere or it seems so... -_-)
