Anyone here listen to Mouse On Mars? I just heard about
him/them (not sure) today. Downloaded about 15 songs off
Soulseek and was amazed by almost every one I heard. Great
stuff.

"Iaora Tahiti" should be your first purchase...

Just a friendly recommendation...

;)

My favorites are autoditacker, glam and instrumentals. You
can't really go wrong with MoM, except for idiology which I
think is a bit of a misstep.

anyone heard them live? is it more intense than the stuff
they're releasing?
they're playing here tonight, but if they play the same
stuff they release, im not really tempted...

i would never buy anything by a band who call themselves
something as fucking ridiculous as mouse on mars on
principle. haven't heard any of their stuff. don't want to.
never will. i bet they fucking honk.

they are really bad live, i saw them a couple of times and i
couldn´t bear it for more than 20 minutes every time...

ii agree with the recommendments: GLAM and INSTRUMENTALS are
good albums, the rest - especially the newer stuff - is all
about breaking records in doing as much as possible while
arranging. to me, there is nothing more to the music than
just the technical aspect. what i mean is: boring. totally.

MoM rules... i love instrumentals, and autoditacker, and
some of idiology, and all their sideprojects, and especially
niun niggung

I haven't heard more than a dozen or so tracks from various
albums - odds and ends, but I like them a lot.

"die innere orange" is fun if you understand German.

fuck tolstoyed you had to go.
isaw them yesterday in zagreb, they were awesome....much
heavierthan on any release, lots of nosie, some gabba parts,
loud and industrial twisted betas. one of the best gigs i
saw....
they tweak and sample so much live, eventhe audiende
(icluding myself screaming)...it was as good as mr brinkmann
live kast year, but better in circumstances.

Instrumentals especially.

Glam is their best, as for me

You should check out an album called 'YAMO- time pie'.

It's Wolfgang Flür (he used to be a man machine in a lesser
known band called Kraftwerk) together with Mouse on Mars.

Very good one!

Vulvaland (1st album) and

for what it's worth,

i'd recommend "niun niggung," "autoditacker," "cache coeur
naif," "instrumentals," and "vulvaland." there are some
other great singles also, particularly "distroia."

i'd avoid "actionist respoke," "iaora tahiti" and "glam."

in other words, trust no one.
