yeah chungking express is a brilliant movie......i liked fallen angels, although i didnt think it completely worked(still worth watching though).
In the mood for love i think is a little over-rated(don`t get me wrong it is a brilliant movie),although it does look fantastic.Still havn`t watched happy together yet,is it anygood?

Happy Together is my least favorite film of his that I have seen, but I've only watched it once. Probably his most complex. Worth seeing.

Happy Together has one of the greatest shots of all time in it. When Leslie Cheung and his boyfriend pull away from the bar and you can see Tony Leung through the rear window. Very nice. Visualy it's his best... Great soundtrack too. But Chung King Express just has this warm excitement, one of my all time fav.

My favorite shot is in Fallen Angels. The mute guy is sitting beside the girl and smelling her hair. That says it all for me.

its a characters name from a series of books called His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. They will probably be made into movies by New Line (LotR).

bumping this because more people need to see his amazing films.
I finally got round to seeing Chungking Express, easily one of the best films i've ever seen. It should get a special edition dvd release.

I watched Happy Together recently, its not the easiest of his films to get into... i'm going to have to watch it again sometime.
shouldn't be too long until 2046 is released, can't wait!
Its a shame more of his films aren't released in the UK, i'd love to see a good dvd quality version of Ashes of Time, also I really want to see 'days of being wild'

chung king express was really wonderful, and it does give you this great/weird feeling when you see it.... but fallen angels impacted me more in that way, and actually i enjoyed it a bit more. but really, it's splitting hairs, i think. both excellent films.
