i bought her album-i heard just great reviews abou it-they said it includes traditional portugal music, elements of trip hop and that she's really talented btw i heard this review on CNN :))))))) i listened to this album once rapidly-that was well enough hehe |

" me too! that's what turned me onto nelly f's music. i love timbaland and that's a great remix. i love the subtle arrpegios played by a toy music maker. anyway the original "turn out the lights" is great too. i prefer the original "get ur freak on" but the tomb raider remix is almost as good. she adds some unique touches to it. i wouldn't buy her debut album but if she keeps going in the direction she's followed these last few months i'll buy her next album. |

I agree that nelly fartado is dumb. I hate her singing..no scratch that..i loathe her singing. her moronic songs hurt my brain. she's nothing more than the rest of the pop scene which is slowly degrading our society into lemmings. |

this a funny topic, forgot all about it.. i haven't heard nelly's new album (or any song from it), i never actually heard her 1st album, just the singles. BUT i stand by what i said, she should stick to hip-hop. i read that she used to rap a lot before she recorded her album. i don't know how good her rapping is (the psuedo-rapping on the missy remix is great, dancehall style) but her singing on the other songs i mentioned (including the ones i hadn't yet heard a year ago) are all great. i think pop is a waste of her talent but what do i know, i'm not a fan per se. |
