i was dragged kicking and screaming to this movie........tee hee ok seriously i took my niece and her friend (i was doing the nice aunt thingy) to this movie and it was OK. it actually got 3 1/2 stars from a pretty good movie critic in the US named Roger Ebert! the movie had a great locale.....i mean you can't beat hawaii, the girls were cute and wearing itsy bitsy bikini's...but the BLOND they focused on was ULTRA boring. here was this LATINA chick who was far more interesting and determined and she was religated to a SUPPORTING role when i wanted to know more about her story. hollywood is so typical.....the blond gets the guy, gets the most lines, and the most EXPOSURE (literally) whilst the more interesting characters just look on. my take: an afternoon waste of time movie 2 STARS in my book for the location(NORHTSHORE hawaii), the surfing, this one football dood who wore 'nut huggers' and the Latina chick! =0) |

The Latina chick is Michelle Rodriquez from Girlfight, no? She's pretty good, saw her on Leno just last night. That movie, to me, looks stupid as all hell... I saw the commerical and just giggled at it. But I've heard good things about it... and I'm Roger Ebert's bitch, what he says GOES. |

yes thats her name, i remember her from the movie 'resident evil' and she's the bomb. i hate when more interesting characters get left by the wayside, she was a chick w/dick which always makes me proud! ebert is usually good.....but he's WAY off on this one. i mean he gave 'bloodwork' the same amount of STARS and thats a a hellava lot better movie. as i said....my niece (who's blond =0) wanted to see, i shoulda dropped her off and went to watch SPY KIDS or something.....tee hee |

Lilo and Stitch was pretty funny for a kids film, IMO. |
