Hi

what is the name of the program that Cylob uses in "Rewind",
I mean the robotic voice... there are lots of people uses it
but I'm too lazy now to search it, just post the name (or
the generic name of those programs)

thanks

(I was refering to the program that "read" text, not some
kind of vocoder)

A lot of the computer voices I hear (Radiohead "Fitter
Happier" comes to mind) sound exactly like the standard
text-to-speech program you get with a Macintosh.

There were several voices, but I think "Fred" is used the
most. RDJ used the "Junior" voice on something, I think.
Hard to remember, I last used that stuff a long time ago.

I think macintosh's text to speek works.. if you mess with
time streach..... or through applescript you can change rate
or speed of the words being spoken.... find it at
www.apple.com/applescript

But the best thing to do is find one of those old skool
computers (forgot the brand) with the classic Hawking
voice.... (the astrophysicist/scientist/philosipher)
