I assume, when you click on the post number to reply to it,
something comes up in the reply box? Could somebody tell me
what to type, because it doesn't work for me...

All you have to do is click it. Nothing shows in the box.

It's a bit trickier on a mac. Just press F2 rapidly (you
have to press it at least 20 times per second for a duration
of at least 2 seconds for it to work) This will bring up
mac's "reply settings" menu. There should be an option for
following up, just check it. You have to reboot your
computer for it to work though.

umm...no.

followups don't seem to work in Internet explorer 5.1 for
OSX, at least for me.

I have whatever the newest version of IE is. It works fine
