Which artists would you like to see direct a film based on
their music?
I'm thinking Radiohead could make something very present and
powerful.
A Sigur Ros film would be beautiful.
I bet RDJ could produce some amazing crazy shit like his
music videos...
Dunno about Autechre - that's more music for the
imagination, IMO.
Also, I think a Beck film would be the most random hilarious
thing ever.
What do y'all think? I know I'm forgetting some great ones.

My idea of a film made by RDJ would be something in the
lines of Fear & Loathing+Clockwork Orange+Pi....

Everytime I listen to Autechre, I picture movie scenes.
Actions accompanied by their music and nothing else, no
dialogue or script. And they all tend to be black and white,
like ''Pi''.

well, squarepusher would do something nice. same with BOC.
yes, that would be nice, seeing as they already show films
in concert.

I agree, Ophecks, an Autechre film might be the outcome of
actions and reactions to the music alone. Very stripped
down but beautiful, almost precise chaos.

better question. I know the artist may b opposed to
something like this, but what if they could make music for a
commercial blockbuster film? What would u like to see them
do?

RDJ-(sound afx) for star wars, score any horror movie, as
well as anime flicks too

[]pusher- action/adventure flick...

BOC- shit, i'd like to SEE their stuff to begin with...

Autechre- def. sci-fi stuff, i'd like to hear them score
2001

Richard Devine- score computer animated movie

to answer that, i would simply have liked to have seen
Neuromancer released.
it was to be directed by Chris Cunningham with music from
AFX, but got ditched for one reason or another.
