smyrma-same converge that has a split with Coalesce. I used
to have petitioning the empty skies and caring is
killing(?). been a while since I was into hardcore.

Yeah, same band. This is their newest album and it's really
quite good. It's a lot more unified than Petitioning. The
title track on Jane Doe is like 12 minutes long and it is
fucking epic

ahh you're making me wish I hadn't gotten rid of all the
noisy stuff. It just started getting harder and harder to
listen to. I still have records by unbroken, damnation
a.d., deadguy, and bloodlet though. bloodlet is one of my
favorite bands but the new one is terrible. I should have
held on to converge, dillenger escape plan, and nora. I
remember having a band called Cave-in's their first record
just as I was getting out of hardcore, now I hear they are
indie or post rock. weird how things change. same with
snapcase...a lots changed since lookinglasself.

Lately... just Smashing Pumpkins, mainly Mellon Collie and
Siamese Dream... Gish is pretty disapointing, just heard it
for the first time.

And System of a Down's unreleased Toxicity tracks... and Do
You Know Squarepusher. And lots of NES and SNES music for
some reason...

And Tool. I'm just in a guitar heavy mood lately!

As for Sasha's Airdrawndagger, I will have to agree, it's a
pretty damn good album, though I need to get the CD once
it's released in the States.
