I didn't think it was that good, just kinda normal but with a david lynch feeling to it. Nothing strange or to weird as in lost highway.

Blue Velvet was bad ass, Lynch is a imaginative man.
Allows the viewer to conjure up many of his own conclusions

Aside from the Mr. Eddie road rage scene and Arquette's tits, I don't remember much about the Lost Highway. I loved Blue Velvet and Mulholland Dr. though. I have a copy of Eraserhead but i've yet to watch it. Dune didn't do much for me either.

I always forget he also did Dune, dunno why, I only recently saw that too, and it was, well, imaginative
effects didn't hold up very well, but still, oh, imaginative

Dune was made in the 70's and he didn't quite have the money george lucas did. All his movies were great that I've seen. Dune was just a little to slow for me to get into, but I was also really tired, so maybe I'll try again...

Whatever. I told you I was really tired when I watched it. Eithor way I doubt the budget was anywhere close to a star wars movie is all I'm saying...

DUNE 1984-budget -$45 million
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - 1983-budget - $32.5 million

hehe, not being a prick, but the Dune effects just dont' hold up, otherwise, as I have said, a very "imaginative" film

watched a little of mulholland dr. this morning, seemed alright--I`ll properly watch it tomorrow--david lynch is definately eccentric.
Some of his films are brilliant, blue velvet-if you havnt seen it,watch it,dennis hopper gives one of his best performances, the elephant man, eraserhead, the straight story, twin peaks.but some i hated, lost highway-what the fuck was all that about?please tell me-wild at heart and dune were alright [dune the book has too much to condense into a 2 hour movie].all his films are weird though.
