What do you think about last single by Underworld called
"Two Months Off"? I downloaded it today and I'm listening it
just now...

Retro Underworld is best IMO.

I already have the mp3 for two months.
(I think from this mb)
First I didn't like it,but now I do.
it sounds very 'underworld'.
They play on the Pukkelpop festival, next month . (afx too =)
)
Looking forward to it.

I think it's a bit 'Ibiza' Underworld go pop.

Underworld isnt Underworld with Darren Emmerson... the other
guys are very talented but there was something about the
chemistry between all of em that'll be hard to duplicate
with anyone else...

Anyway, it's all been a bit downhill with UW after
Dubnobasswithhead...that was a perfect release for it's time
& subsequent ones just don't achieve the same quality to
these ears...

Underworld is not relevant anymore, from a music point of
view

So how much input did Emerson have? I haven't heard the new
single but I'm worried this will be 'it'.

i liked 'dubnobass' and also 'secondtoughest' but didn't
like beaucoup and think the new album won't be much cop
anyway after that one, seeing them live (all 3 of em) was
one of my most memorable experiences though

the new album is BRILLIANT, much better than Beaucoup Fish.
Especially Sola Sistim and Mo Move, very chilled tracks. I'm
loving it. Beaucoup Fish had good tracks but it wasn't a
good album, this one has great tracks AND is a great album.
I'm not too wild about Two Months Off though.

Darren didn't have much input at all, he just told them what
he thought worked. He's also the reason they put that god
awful track Moaner on the last album.

What does Dubnobass... sound like. The only thing I have by
Underwold is the Pearl's Girl EP.

they can' be happy bunnies, i've had their album since june
and it doesn't get a release till end of semtember

sounds just like the last album to me, and i didn't think
much of that either, which makes me think what exactly
darren emerson did

the new single does remind me a bit of scorchio by emerson,
perhaps a bit of a dig?

dubnobasswithmyheadman & second toughest are excellent
albums, then came beaucoup fish with its pathetic push
upstairs and donner summer rip-off king of snake, and they
had the nerve to put moaner on the end of it, a track which
was over 2 years old

well, they were good while they lasted

its not that theres anything WRONG with it...I just think
its real POPPY compared to the dark "Second Toughest..."

Sounds like something we will hear in a commercial soon.

I dont wanna sound like I am dissing UNDERWORLD...I really
really like ALOT of these guys work...OLDER yes, but there
were even some good tracks on Beucuop (spelling) Fish

not many, but a few....
=)
