I never got into Kyuss but I love QOTSA. The self titled is great, it's one of my favorite albums ever, especially the track "Regular John." I got the new album off slsk too and it's is quite good as well. Slightly less weird than R but it has some awkward 'skit' type things that should've been left out IMO
Talk to Jarworski about Kyuss ;)

Yeah, pop along... dave grohl on drums n all...
MoG, 'Wretch' is the first Kyuss album, bit rough and least best, get 'Blues For The Red Sun', then 'Sky Valley'.
And smoke copious amounts of cheeba =oD

i never really liked Kyuss, and "R" by quotsa had some good songs, but wasn't (imo) the masterpiece everyone said it was.
HOWEVER, Dave Grohl has said "melodies for the deaf" is the best album he has ever worked on :-o
Quite a statement coming from the man who played drums on In Utero... (& nevermind, for that matter, but In Utero is far superior ;-)).

As for the queens, the first album is best imo, then songs for the deaf, then rated r. I think R was extremely overrated

I thought Nevermind was a crappy album, In utero is indeed much better. I liked R but 2 or 3 of the songs sucked and shouldnt even be on a recorded cd. Monster in the Parasol, That one with cheerleaders and feel got hit of the summer (not even close to what its title wants it to be)are very bad and a waste of time and space on an otherwise excellent cd.

monster in yr parasol SUCKED, i dunno what you mean with the cheerleadersong? I thought feelgoodhit was one of the better ones though. I hated the last song, with the stupid trumpets. :-)
My favourites are probably leg of lamb and autopilot.
And as for nevermind... i wouldn't say that it sucks, but it's not THAT special really, i wonder why it become so legendary. Probably due to smells like teen spirit... now that is one hell of a song :-)

The Queens have a habit of redoing stuff that was on the 'Desert Session's albums - 'Avon', 'Monster In The Parasol', 'Hangin Tree', 'Millionaire' - all originally desert sessions tracks.
And 'I Think I Lost My Headache' is a great track! Even with that trumpety outro =o)
The cheerleader song is called 'Quick and to the Pointless'
And I like the Destiny's Child bootleg of teen spirit much more!

Oh yeah, something else I was gonna say - if you like the Queens, they have done a lot of stuff that isn't on their albums. Check out 'The Bronze' and 'Infinity' for a start =o)

that outro gives me a headache ;-) Quite a paradox!
I don't like quick & tt pointless much... but i adore the confused voice at the beginning... "i don't even know what... i'm doing here", lol, it cracks me up!

I think the s/t is the best one also. 'R' is also very good but I don't listen to it as much.
