It's more of a "logo" than a font, It would be very hard to make text font type something like that, but someone should probably make a font of the letter "style" I reckon that would be cool |

I am a graphic artist and I have thought about a font before too. I thought that that main problem would be deciding how to do it. Like should every letter resemble the "A" or should each letter have its own awesome look like the "A" does. |

copy the look of the letters that are there and improvise to make the others look like it fits into the motif, also,.. does anyone know where I can get a program that makes text fonts for use in windows (eg wordpad, paint, etc..) or even the name of a program |

I agree, screw everyone else, and keep the "A" the way richard intended it to be. That way only us rdj fans will be able to read it, thus creating a more cult/community feel. As for fontmaking programs: http://www.macromedia.com/software/fontographer/ http://www.truetype.demon.co.uk/othertls.htm http://www.pyrus.com/ http://www.lostcarpark.com/fonts/ but ya know, all that i really did was search on 'font creator' in google. That macromedia one above sounds like the best, but it probably aint cheap. see if you can find it on navnetwork.net ... Hey, mr. graphic artist, hurry up and make the font, we all want it! I'll do it myself if i have to!! j/k But seriously, ... make that font, dammit |

Thanks -- I'm actually having a "Misc Contributions"-section which is not yet added to the new site. A font-package would most likely fit into that category -- along with some WinAmp-skins etc... |

I would do winamp skins if I knew how, but unfortunately I don't, can anyone give me the url of where one is (I could find one If I looked, but I can't be bothered) and as for the font, I can't buy stuff online, so I'd have to say I'm gonna have to use Corel draw (urghhhh damn low budget) |

Nice Barcode Font ... ZX81 ... ... Spectrum (a la Gril/Boy Ep font).. ... ... These are PC fonts so right click, save to desktop & then move into Fonts in Control Panel... Will post a couple of others soonish... |

Well this isn't really what you wanted, but you can get the ZX Spectrum font that he used on the Girl/Boy EP cover from www.acidfonts.com, and you can also download a program to create your own fonts from there... |

I did a vector trace of the "A" logo in adobe illustrator. Came out pretty well. I put it on stickers and stuff :-). I don't really like the rest of the font. He should use that sans serif typeface on the Come to Daddy LP for his official font (helvetica it looks like). heh. Or maybe the type on the Windowlicker LP. |

http://www.p21.co.uk/ is the site of the guy who did the font... think his name is Paul Nicholson....perhaps.... spoke to him a while back about logo...will hunt down what he sent me; it's kinda interesting & the guy is a smooth designer.... |
