I'm bringing this old thread back up as SPIDERMAN is going
to be unleashed onto the world on thursday, and the world
premiere will be in my town!!!! I was such a sucker for
Spiderman when I was a kid!!! I still like him the most of
all super-heros. I saw the old movie and it sucked bad and
I'm convinced that the new one will be a bad corporate piece
of crap, but I still have to see it: just to see spidey
travelling over city buildings using his web... I dreamed of
it so much when I was a kid...

I saw a trailer.
It looked pretty good, but all trailers do.
I think I 'll go see spiderman,
just to see if it sucks or not.

It will suck, but I want to see him flying over town, it
will be worth the embarassment

Yeah im gonna go and see it to , even tho i know it gonna
suck.
But hey it's spiderman!!!
I was a huge spiderman fan when i was a child.
The most anoying thing about the new movie is that spiderman
looks really CG.

everyone who has seen it has said it's great. someone said
it was the best superhero movie ever made, better than x-men
or even batman

name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) ;)

uhm...am i missing out on something here ?

i've seen a trailer of sorts from the upcoming spiderman
movie and, sure it looks smooth, but what's the big fuzz all
about ?? i mean, to me it looks like one of the countless
actionpacked hollywood productions that is forgotten after a
few weeks at the cinema. i mean....is there some sensational
actors, story, plot-thing that i'm missing out on, or what
?

?

i'm not upset about anything.

i'm just wondering why this movie gets that amount of
attention...

Well Spiderman is one of the biggest superheros there is
together with batman hulk and superman etc ....
And most big hollywood productions get this kind of
attention , they are very good at creating a hype.
Im not surprised.

offline joakim from Norway on 2002-04-30 17:18 [#00201098]

i'm really bored with the
"more-spectacular-bloody-and-actionpacked-than-last-time"
hollywood thing. you know, the blockbuster and megahype kind
of thing. i've lately seen some movies from other countries,
like russia, india, italy, spain and france, and they've
given me a helluva lot more than a year worth of hollywood
productions. don't get me wrong; some movies made in the
states are alright i guess, but the tendency of overdoing
stuff, and all this patriotic american stuff is really just
sick. many of the so called "foreign" movies can be far more
fascinating, engaging and rewarding, using only a small
fraction of the hollywood budgets.

And once again, this topic is being resurrected. I've seen
the film. You all can touch me now. Actually I'm not sure
how good it is. I salivated all the way. But I'm being
totally subjective here. I always wanted to be spiderman.
maybe I eventually will be spiderman... Anyway, the film was
not bad at all, IMO (subjective as it is). They stuck with
Stan Lee's original ideas and that is really good. And the
action is excellent. I am pleased and thrilled.

Good to see yall, especially my welsh man, jonesy. Well, me
too, I hate those action packed piles of crap, but this one
either has a real difference, or I'm totally infatuated with
my childish love for spiderman. Oh, BTW, I have a meeting in
45 minutes, so I'll be here for a short time only...

from other action flicks. But I'm not sure where this
difference resides.... Anyway, I thought Batman was crap, so
I'm really surprised at how much I liked this one... I'll
get the game too, although I've heard it really sucks...

From what i have seen of the trailers Kirstyn Dunst does a
good job in portraying Mary Jane.
Mary was a "cool" party girl in the begining.

nice. I'm reading Derrida at the moment and, since he's so
heavy, I also read Terry Pratchet. I love this guy and all
