tonight I had my first showing as a professional
illustrator [that i went to]
i had one a few months back, but didn't show up.
it was an annual speakeasy illustration show in Toronto,
where all these illustrators submit their work and only ten
are chosen.
i got to be one of them!
it went extremely well, although i stayed as far away from
my work as i possibly could.
all my mailers adn business cardddds got scooped up too!
hopefully i'll the $400 i put into the show back very
shortly!
i don't know why i'm telling you all this, but i am.
so there.
it ties to this board because they were playin ghtis rad
musik by a band/group/artist from cali named xl
i think their website is xltronic.com
does that tie in with the board here at all?
amy way, you can see my illustration shite here if
you wish!

I really like your artwork, very good.

2 of my cousins work as illustrators, it's a good way of
getting paid for art (rather than just being an artist).

I don't know if I should say this or not but... I went there
and put a sign next to your business cards that read "For...
MANLY love... please take one" That's why everybody took
them. (it was easy to do since you were staying far away
from your work)
