i vote for it being a "compilation" of artists. i think the
songs were a joint effort by the reflex artists.

PT 1 - Astrobotnia (Ovuca)
PT 2 - Astrobothnia remixed by various Rephlex people (Track
3 is AFX, I reckon)..
PT 3 - Haven't heard it yet apart from the sample MP3 so
tricky to say...

pt 1. Definitly sounds and seems to be Ovuca (he even played
live as AstroBotnia, hes from Ostrobotnia).

pt 2. Ovuca and a few mixes by other Rephlex cats like Cylob
(maybe Aphex Twin),

pt 3. Just Ovuca, fo sho sho.

too many cooks spoil the broth - the mood techniques and
applications are consistent throughout the mp3's and the two
releases i have bought

I reckon that it's all written by Noel Gallagher of Oasis.

Actually, no I don't. I reckon it's a collaborative project
written by several artists. I don't reckon it's a new
artist, as I don't think Rephlex would risk putting out
three LPs by a completely new artist like that.

It's so Rob Brown from Autechre. Think about it,
astROBotnia, it's right there in plain sight! Sean was
probably outraged by this side project Rob started and
didn't want the Autechre or Gescom name ruined, so Rob was
forced to create the alias Astrobotnia...

Seriously, it's probably a collection of different artist's.

Poor old Ceefax. CAC doesn't sound quite so cool as AFX.

Everyone is a cool track.

But seriously I have no fucking clue who it is, and we
probably never will find out. But if I had to vote then I
would say a 'collection of artists'.

I think Squarepusher is NOT part of Astrobotnia. Although
Mike & Rich COULD be involved. But its just another
mind-fuck. Just sit back and enjoy. aight?

the trouble is that most of those articles info comes from
Rephlex, so it's more than likely disinfo...

All you can really use is your ears....

Hell no! How can u say its overrated!?

It aint hyped at all...it probably have sold like 1500
copies at most!

It gets no publicy, no way its overrated!

Its a rock solid release, the first part didnt have one weak
cut imo.
