music from punk to samba to rave stuff)

mixed up with loads of dub and soul and hip hop! all the
other djs that played after and before us all played ibiza
cheese euro beat shit and amazingly we were the only guys to
be applauded and cheered!

when I was in highschool, i was asked to DJ our school
dances...

so i did. it is a nightmare... id put on a great dancing
song... daft punk or something... and everyone would just
stare at me... and so i had to put on shit pop junk.

It was nerve racking too, cause every 2 seconds (no
exageration) people would come up and request stuff. I had
no idea what any of this junk pop stuff was... but i played
it, because i had to get people to dance.

I got paid for it though... so i could say "fuck off"

suprisingly enough, everyone loved me, and requested me
several more times... i think after the 3rd or 4th time i
was like "screw this"

wasnt worth the cash

we (me and 2 mates) once made a live at about 6'AM in a
private party in a farm, and there were dancefloor mixing
all night long, and at dawn people were expecting upbeat
dj's and we made a total abstract set !
people started to go off but some were curious and enjoyed
the smoothness of it.

quoth, that's excellent! unfortunately, at the grad dance
last week, at the banquet the first 5 songs were the same 5
songs that were played on the cruise later, it was the most
repetetive use of music i've heard in awhile, and though i
had never heard the eminem single previously to this night,
i heard it about 3 times when it was over...Geezus!
