1st off, this guy is talented. I'd give a body part to have the ability to do what he does with audio... ---- but come on, the guy is a dick too: he constantly moans about how warp sucks lies in his interviews, when were pretty much the only jackarses to read them has tons o music, he hasn't released, or has put out in a crappy format. EXAMPLE: ABv3. sounds like it was bounced from a tape to a digital format...i think it sounds like arse. Y confuse u'r fans, the people who actually buy u'r cd's and records? i dunno, why be an ass? to make u look hella cool? To feed u'r ego? grow up what do u think? anyone have any stories or run ins with him b4? |

there are a couple on this site... search for yourself... ---- the guy is so goddamn funny... if he lies in his interviews WHO FUCKING CARES?... it's obsessed fans like you who are dependant on his every word and get hurt if he lies, who ruin music.. if he lies in interviews it's because he needs to do it for his own sanity. if he doesn't release more music.. well it's a shame.. but he can do whatever he wants with it. he's got enogh money so he doesn't need to sell records to live, he's a musician and makes music for himself... he doesn't care about you or interviews... he jokes about himself and make a mockery at all... it's great.. and it's the way it should be. I would do it the same way. share my music with my firends, mostly. |

I find Richard to be quite hilarious. Although I do wish he'd take his talent a little more seriously... I sometimes wonder if he realizes how much of a genius he really is. |

I fine him pretty funny as well...he obviously enjoys fucking around with the media and the heads of people in general...good luck to him... You can't really judge him from third-parties anyway so it's not really fair to call him an arsehole or that he's arrogant...at the end of the day he just a human being so has his ups and downs like anyone else... |

The music speaks for itself. EVERYTHING else - the intervies, image, press releases, contracts, aka's, is RDJ basically saying: Look, we all live in this hyperworld of media driven nonsense that is SO fucking transparent that if you let it influence how you appreciate a piece of music then you're a dumb fuck and have become caught up in this bullshit-and maybe you have lost something. THATS THE WAY I SEE IT. From what i understand it, RDJ has such a tight group of freinds and family that he can afford to arse around with everyone else outside that group because its an outlet for creative energy which he seems to have on overflow and he's secure enough to never feel the need to really explain himself to what the media has collectively termed "fans" but what is a group made up of everyone to casual appreciaters to media-obsessed silly persons.
