...anyone should bear."

So why is it constantly haunting me? I can keep it away when
I'm by myself, either by listening to music or playing
videogames, surfing the net and smoking weed.

But when I'm hanging out with friends we always ask the same
fucking question: "What are we gonna do?"

We could see a movie, but seriously, how many movies can a
single person watch? Especially when most new movies suck.

We dont have a lot of money to spend, so we cant goto strip
clubs or go out and spend cash at malls.

We dont even have a decent club that plays reasonable music.
All I ask for is generic techno, is that so difficult?

We've talked about every single topic there is to discuss:
Meaning of life, why this world is fucked up, what are we
gonna do with the rest of our lives... etc.

We have a hard time meeting new people because we live in a
state where drinking alcahol is a favorite pastime. (we are
third highest in drunk driving per capita) Not to mention
all the wannabe gangsta's and airhead bitches that drive and
talk on cellphones at the same time.

I sure could use some drugs right about now.

I know what you mean. I always just call a friend and we
just drive around and do nothing or go to the record store
and buy some music. Or get high.

Am I the only one who thought that after 2000 this place
would be WAY more interesting? Flying cars, holograms, neat
toys, etc.?

I blame it on Republicans mostly.

you could do what my friends and i do..walk around all night
laughing at all the drunks...and if there are no
drunks...then its still nice to walk around on a warm summer
night...its completely different from walking around during
the day...so quiet

not boredom for me,
just occasional loneliness.

When alone (which is often), I don't get bored... it's not
possible. I can always entertain myself with my brain. I
NEVER find myself wondering what to do. In fact, I'm
overwhelmed, there's so MUCH to do. To watch, to read, to
listen to... never ends.

Around anyone else, I get SOOOO bored... nobody's
interesting enough. People are so stupid and unintelligent.
They'd all be better off dead, I pity the stupid and
unclever. I prefer to be alone. Hanging out and
accomplishing nothing but getting stoned just doesn't appeal
to me, by brain is constantly moving, the gears perpetually
grinding, creating sparks that the stupidity of others would
just put out. There's really only a couple of people I know
that I'd ever want to be around, the rest are parasites that
I wish would leave me alone.

This happy-go-lucky message was brought to you by ME! *grin

Why do they even feel compelled to do ANYTHING?

I guess because I'm the uber-loner, it's not a problem...
but some people just can't seem to sit their useless boring
ass down and do ''nothing''. Doing so much, accomplishing so
little... talking but saying nothing.

This reminds me of ''I'm Only Sleeping'' from Revolver.
Lennon in his own peaceful world while everyone's running
around like chickens with their head's cut off for no
reason...

I'm such a surly bastard. :-)

i agree with you.

the best quote that sums that up is from trent reznor: "I
have lived so many lives, all in my head." I think it's off
of track 8 from the fragile disc right.

wow..Ophecks you sound like me and Im not joking. I too
find myself never bored when being alone...as you said its
not possible. my parents keep asking me if im bored when im
sitting on my bed listening to music. I just say no...cause
im thinking about the music. I don't know.

I wouldn't mind having someone around to share my ideas
with...but I can see myself getting bored or whatever cause
im thinking THEY'RE bored..which makes me uneasy...it sucks
lol.

"I wouldn't mind having someone around to share my ideas
with..."

get me a agirl that i'm uncontrolably atracted to, and hold
true to the above statement, and that' my future wife! but
hey, isnt' twha twhat we all look for in a wife?

but in my case she'd have to be as fucked up as i am, or
divorce is imminent

I think it's funny how girls can make guys so happy... they
get some disposable slut, and everything's A OK... until
next month. I've seriously only been attracted to one girl
in my entire life, she's so smart and quirky and weird, one
of a kind, interesting to talk to. And a dark and gloomy
psycho like myself! :-) I'm picky.

i can only WISH i knew someone like that!

who im attracted to but ALSO actually LIKE!
someone who i actually respect!??!?

They're few and far between... my favorite people to talk to
are actually online. I've been systematically alienating
myself from all the dumbasses that I've been friends with in
real life... just bad luck, really stupid people around
here.

this is why america has high drug use and alcahol abuse...
because in little suburbia, there is no culture. the city
has lots to do... there is things goin on...

but when you are stuck out in the middle of nowhere your
whole life... theres nothing to do but get wasted...

and ophecks... i feel exactly like you do

I am very picky with girls also. I just can't imagine
getting close to some girl whom I can't respect. Maybe
there will be some smart, interesting, fun girls at college
next year. Maybe..

''but when you are stuck out in the middle of nowhere your

I'm in a shit town with nothing to do, the locals all get
drunk and wasted all the time, seems to be all they live
for... I entertain myself. That stuff just doesn't appeal to
me at all...

that line is so simular to the vibe to track 8 on the
fraglie disc right (WTF is that song title..i'm to lazy to
check the disc)

I know... and it sucks to be part of the ''general''

but I consider myself ''unique''. :-/

if you think about it, it's kind of a unique luxury to be
bored all the time. not that i'm advocating it, or that i am
bored all the time myself, but it's just funny cos most of
the world's population is always working very hard (blue
collar labor) to make money for their family (or themselves)
and would kill to have the free time and luxuries (nice
couch, video games, computer, cd's, dvd's, etc.) some of the
people on this thread undoubtedly have
