some people are stupid ^^^ HeWhoCannotBeNa, if they are boring go listen to some punk, Im sure itll fit your attention span a lot better, how sad that you could think such an intense and full bodied band could be boring... tisk tisk.
1. TNT (simply the best ever) 2. Standards 3. Millions Now Living Will Never Die
if I had the self-titled album itd probally be 4th, as Ive heard some tracks.

A WIRE journalist Simon Hopkins (or Reynolds, I always confuse them 2) coined the term "Post Rock" to describe chicago's post-Slint era. Slint was the band all those other bands were born from (Gastr del Sol, The Sea and The Cake, Tortoise etc.)

Yes I am. It was all an elaborate lie just to draw attention to myself. I have low self esteem you see and it was a way of boosting my ego. Nah, I'm at the university with my girlf and so have a quick half an hour. So here's your chance to insult me while I'm here.

someone on here has the best slint album cover as their avatar.
it's the best because it's instrumental, w/o any of that crap spoken word liek on spiderwebs.
yuck. i'd defiantely say they influenced mogwai. chicago post rock is just any band that either has sam prekop in it, or aomeone he has been in a band with!
he he he

I dont really like TNT or millions now living will never die too much. self titled and standards are definately the best. Djed off mnlwnd is almost a waste of 20 minutes the last 10 minutes are good but I could do without the first 10.
