I was wondering something. I REALLY want to get into Ae, and i only have thier first Ae album (Incunabula) and i want to broaden my horizons to new Ae. Can someone suggest the next step? I don't think im quite ready for Confield, oh and i did like Incunabula and loved Second Bad Vibel. Please Help Murray |

as ive said numerous times, anyone who is starting to get into ae should buy right away tri rep++. end of discussion ;) 2nd step, lp5... that one will reconfigure your brain. |

Murray, TRUST ME, this worked for me: first get LP5 and when you're fully into it get tri repetae.. after those two steps you'll probably be into autechre! |

in this order: Amber Tri Repetae++ (with the "++" you also get the Anvil Vapre EP, probably their best complete release ever) LP5 then, see if you like some tracks from Chiastic Slide, EP7, Confield, then go out and buy them. |

I started with Confield, which turned me off them for a bit... (now I think it's perfect, of course, that's Confield for you). I'd say Tri Repetae is easy to get into, at least in relation to their OTHER stuff. |
