i aint got any of his stuff but i used to hear him alot on
John Peels show, very funny, witty guy.

jammy smears is one of ivor cutler's great lp's

he started writing poetry at a fairly late stage in life
(his 40's i *think*)

maybe that's why his songs are so tainted

yes he's a genius. poetry/comedy/lo-fi musical noodlings.
and he appeared in the beatles' Magical Mystery Tour.
