So I will start in a band...

but I can't decide wich kind of music I will play...

My choises:

Hardcore metal; where I have my roots and where my
friends can listen.

Electronic Jazz; I thought of some mellow,
squarepusher-kinda sound. And I thought of hooking up with
an old friend of mine who play keyboard. Thinking more
underground here...

I know that you all probly think "Electronic Jazz" but if
you know how it feels to play metal youll think twice...

Start two bands. That's what I do all the time. At one
moment in 1994 i was in five bands at the same time.

Why dont you just do Electric Jazz Metal. You'll have a
unique sound! If you are clever you can pull it off
wonderfully! And I'd be your #1 fan!

Yeah, create something new

My band just jam and we sound like noone else.... just a sum
of the four parts, it's kinda freaky but cool =oD

Yea, like late at night sometimes Ill just run every
software synth I have to see what the outcome is. Just have
fun and make music, dont worry about what kind it is.

ok...it all sounds peachy, but heres the thing:

All the guys from the metal-band hate electronic and all the
guys from the electronic hate metal!!!

2 bands is the solution then.

Its more of 1 band playing 2 styles, me thinks.

Same with my bunch. The bassist likes electronic but old
school stuff, not IDM. So we play furious punk metal. But
like I said... it's rather original by accident =oD

well, for my part, I'm in wo entirely different bands now:

One is mellow new-american-music style rock with a lot of
silent parts, the other a classic grindcore outfit. None of
the members of any of the bands can stand other's music.

I like those mellow laid back rock songs that have a heavy
bassline and the same couple of vocal samples repeating
throughout the song.

bah, thats just what I like, i wasnt saying that was what
your band sounds like...it was just another mindless comment
from the chaotic mind of mr. endtask
