Amonbrune sent me a song called Violin Phase... that's all
the mp3 is called... not sure what album it's on, or
anything, but it's amazing!!! It's so beautiful... all it is
basically is these violins playing this little loop over and
over, but in a round style... and the round keep changing
where one part starts and the other one starts if you
understand what I mean... basically what it is is a loop
played over and over, but because of the round style there
are many subtle little changes, that I guess aren't really
THAT subtle, because they are very effective... it's like 15
minutes long, but very good!!!

I haven't heard any other Steve Reich, but I feel like
checking him out now...

Funkmaster,

check out desert music or music for 18 musicians by steve
reich. I think both of those pieces are great for
starters.

also check out John Adams and if you haven't already philip
glass.
