how can be boring the best music ever made to date.
with each release, they are steping further into the limits of music
they are always bringing new meanings to music, harmony and melody...
how can they be boring they are the best

No, I don't think so.
But they can be... some tracks need to be pared down a bit, Recury being one of them... track doesn't change much. I LOVE the first 5 minutes, then I get pretty bored, admittedly...
Clipper changes and has lots of stuff going on, so it's allowed to be long.

not in my opinion. from what ive experienced with ae, a lot of songs sound repetitive on first listen. after giving them a more listens, you start to hear subtle changes everywhere. they are gods.

yes!!! i agree 150% with that- there are sometimes dozens of little nuances and breaks in songs that you would've never thought had those.
sometimes there are flashbacks, too.

hell no they're not boring. you've heard the phrase, 'God is in the details', well Autechre have details and to spare, it's like an ever-changing sequence their songs, that brings more and more new sonic 'things' to light.

I'd say overall, of COURSE they're not boring, as long as you're ready to sit down and really listen...
But even then, they've got some duds, and some songs that just LACK some really interesting ''nuances'' that their best tracks have.
But they're few and far between, they hit the mark more often than not.

Lol yah it is "the devil is in the details". . . but let my ask something:
what's so great about all these subtle things about the songs? Sometimes I just want to listen to and fully enjoy something on the first listen, not have to listen to a song and over again until I can fully enjoy it.
And also, isn't the overall song the real point? Some of the best tracks I've ever made (with Fruity Loops) only took me a couple hours to make. I didn't spend hours tweaking all the effects and making everything peachy-clean. I just ripped up a new track as quickly as possible, and it happened to be some of my best material yet. . .

oi, again with the "i make brilliant stuff in one hour" junk
subtle things in a song adds character
if you are making a song just to dick around to... sure, leave out the detail
it can still be good in a way
but if you want to make a song thats dynamic and powerful.... details...even small ones.... yea

for me, i liked a lot of ae tracks on first or second listen. after a couple more, it seems to reach a certain level of 'goodness'. but after repeated listens, when you begin to be able to distinguish all those subtle sounds and details, the track sounds a bit new, fresher and a hell of a lot stronger. imo, tracks with no details often become dull and lifeless in no time. after, let's say, 7 or 8 listens, you're bored with it. but dont get me wrong, im not saying i dont like simple tracks at all, it's the less-detailed ones.

Hmm well even if that is the way it is I still won't mind. Alot of music that I love now more than anything else, I didn't like or didn't understand when I first heard it. (Like Aphex Twin himself, I didn't see what was so great about him at first, and same with John Digweed, and the progressive house genre in general).

I must admit, some of it bores me... the first track from Garbage is an example... but most of it is quite good!!! Some of their songs are really long... I think it's fine to have songs over 8 minutes say, but most of an album? That's a bit long I think...

At this exact moment, yes.
I don't care for their releases after Tri-Repetae++. I've listened to them all many times, but just don't care for them.
Now, if I just count the first 3 albums, I don't find them boring at all.

well it's just a matter of opinion, isn't it?
i don't listen to incunabula, amber, or tri repetae that much anymore, but they're not boring, imo. it's just that on the other albums there's more going on and somehow the songs work better.
ofcourse, the older works tend to have more monotonous beats etc. so if you consider that boring, you have a point.
