agreed...that whole album is very cool...

It was quite a prestige release really so I think everyone
made an extra effort...

well, it was a part of WARP 10 yr anniversary thing so it
was a bit special...

If you're creating a track for something like that, I reckon
you'd put more effort into it...especially considering some
of the tracks they remixed were IDM classics....

hope that makes more sense...i've just had me lunch...

but by "effort" i'm picturing the remixers slaving over a
hot mixing desk(?) as opposed to just banging out their
regular shit

...ya see i read 'the wire' and have found myself interested
in the whole individual music-forging enterprise and can't
imagine a solid, integral artist making MORE of an EFFORT
with this track obver that........
just being pernickity today..i haven't eaten yet!

another The Wire reader...cool...

yeah, I see your point but wouldn't you put more effort into
remixing "Come To Daddy" thats gonna be heard by tons of
people, than say a remix of a dance track that's just gonna
appear on a B-side...

I just think you'd be more inclined to put in an
extra-special effort when it's an extra-special
release...that just kinda human nature...

listening to it now. I didn't like it at first but listening
to it for the second time in, well about 18 months it sounds
quite good actually.
