"Everything, Everything" is now widely recognized as a
classic. . . . Underworld are genuises.

Actually I like this song. . . it is classic Underworld, and
it sounds like something from their first cd. It looks like
these two guys (Darren Emerson left the group, of course)
have still got it.

OH MAN thats new Underworld? what have they DONE?!?!?!
That was horrible!!!!!!! Im going to puke! I wish they
went back to STITI style or even BF. That was just
horrible.

Deathsmith: everything everything is live stuff from older
albums. thats dumb to call it their best over their ACTUAL
studio work.

the song with the 'everything, everything' lyric in is
'cowgirl'. which is a classic.

i thought he meant the dvd.
And that IS a classic. Brilliant graphics by the Tomato
group. Everyone I've shown the DVD to, even people who don't
like Underworld, say the DVD is amazing.

I like this song. It's actually reall good. Take sme back
to what I listened to often before IDM rolled around. And
yes, those 2 guys still do have it.

Pearl's Girl IMO is their Classic tune, that or Born Slippy.
Those two songs are how people reconize them I believe.

OH YEAH!!!!

500 posts. :]~

And it only took like 3 months or more, go me!

yeah, i think that compared to afx and ae, "regular" techno
just doesn't compare.

I agree with you BrendanEther, there's no way in hell you can
compare what AFX,AE and Squarepusher does to the rest of the
techno/electronic music movement,that's a different
story....What they play is more complex and more creative if
you will.....The rest it's just dance music... =)

offline AMinal from Toronto (Canada) on 2002-06-17 03:17 [#00269632]

ya i agree completely

its completely different genres to me.... (if u can call
ae/afx/[]pusher a genre)

"the rest is just dance music"
yup:)

this music is different..... its better, more interesting,
and theres actually a sort of songwriting that goes on....
its not just meant to be mixed and danced too

i dont get people who cant hear the difference

I know AMinal, there's too much of a difference and we can
be able to hear or even feel the difference between those 2
different types of music....There's lots of creativeness in
each piece, that's why I love so much those artists, because
they're just way unpredictable, never know what to expect
next....... ===)

Underworld is one of the only groups I like that make that
kind of dance music. There's definitely something very
special about them.
