it's really surprising to me that so many people like Daft
Punk on an Aphex Twin message board... but I love them... I
really really want to get the new album... One More Time,
and Face to Face are killer imo!!

discovery is pretty disappointing after the initial couple
listens

I dunno, I've listened to half, or more then half of
Discovery, and I like it... Homework is fantastic, but I
think if I get the Discovery album, I'll like the more
melodic stuff better...

Disappointing... we need a better word than that. Discovery
made my heart sink with hurt feelings and betrayal! WHAT
WERE THEY THINKING!! They totally went pop on us! I mean
Homework was the epitome of how house / acid house should
sound. But Discovery was ... weird. Like whats with the
accapella singing at the end? Were they trying to be BSB?
Or like what? I just hope they go back to their roots and
get that dog back for their next release.

one thing is for sure, One More Time always lifts my
spirits... it's such an upbeat, catchy song... I love it...

I agree with you Titsworth,Discovery is more of the
same, really nothing new, just a repeat of their first
one...and that was just a big slap in my face,I wanted to
buy it but a friend of mine at a cd store let me hear it
before buy it,so I decide it sounded like Homework,so dind't
bought it.......And their live one is just as bored as their
last one, sorry for those who like DaftPunk, but it's my
personal opinion....

ARE YOU GUYS KIDDING? Discovery WAS something new!!! It was
DAft Punk taking an entirely different direction than
Homework, which I admire them for.

It's not which is better; Homework or Discovery, since that
is always a matter of perspective and there will always be
people who disagree on which is better, but it is about
which one YOU like more.

And yes I've heard Musique. . . that's their best song EVER,
I think!!!

BTW my favourite Daft Punk album is Alive 1997.

Alive 1997 is FUCKING INSANE!!! It's all one big 45 minute
track, and it's nonstop fast paced intense action!!! In
fact, minutes 19:00 - 21:00 on Alive 1997has been one of the
very few times music has given me an actual orgasm, and it
will give you one too.
