the punk etho is integral to the electronic movement but punk music from the early 90s on out has been awful, i must say. i do like nofx tho, at least their early and mid career albums/songs. |

they're amusing and catchy, i haven't listened to them in several years but i've always hated other punk bands besides them and nofx. the rest just aren't as interesting. they just copy each other. |

Yah, but if they accepted it, they would have lost their "underground" appeal and thus more money. Punk is completely lame--terrible songs, cliched beats, two chords. Not to mention the completely terrible lyrics! |

well that's pretty stupid... why would signing a deal with a big record label make you mainstream? If you have control over what is being written you write what you want to write... and, if you did have a big label putting more promotion behind you, isn't that a good thing? You know, trying to get the music out to as many people as possible... I understand all the stuff about credibility and shit, but still... |
