hey yall,
my gf and i got engaged a month back and will be marrying
next year. so we want you to give us music recommendations
for our reception etc...
we have chosen "Avril 14th" for the aisle walking music.
Specific songs please.

that's really cool! you should email warp telling them
you're integrating aphex into your marriage, i bet they'd
forward it to richard and he'd get a kick out of it.

i'd recommend not picking ventolin for anything.

something old, new, borrowed, blue, but mostly anything you
can shake it to.

thats a good idea titsworth. we were thinking ventolin
would be good for getting the old people to leave at the end
of the reception.

any other ideas folks?

i think avril 14th is too short though, unless you have some
guy play it on piano, or loop it. 2 minutes isn't nearly
enough isle time

shit, i can't believe i didn't say congradulations first
CONGRADULATIONS!
my mom is getting married in august, and she's going to move
to new zealand, and none of her family has said
congradulations :/ they only worry about "we'll never see
you" and shit, even thought they wouldn't see her anyways if
she didn't visit them... and i had to hug her while she
cried about that, so,yeah, sorry i didn't say
congradulations

I just went to my friends mom's wedding, it was real
emotional. Weddings would be a good time for electronic
music.
Maybe some Alberto Balsalm?

you could always play closer!

actually i remember seeing on a nin news site that closer
was around # 55 in the most played wedding ilse music.

i always thought "the last day on earth" by manson was a
very romantic track.

by aphex...why now polynomial c? or pancake lizard?

thanks for all the ideas! keep em coming, i'm making a
list.
good idea nanotech.. closer eh?...

i want music drunk folks can dance to, even the old folks.
we just want to avoid any of that stardard hokey pokey,
electric slide shit common at so many receptions.

maybe boc-the color of the fire
i'd suggest a lot of BoC, it's slow, so the old peoples can
dance, and it's pretty cool shit

Tits said "you should email warp telling them

forward it to richard and he'd get a kick out of it. "

I Agree.
They might even put it in the news section at the site ,
that would be cool eh?

indeed, my mum and dad and halo's mum and dad and possibly
some other mum and dad's this is what makes picking music
difficult. i wanna like the music but i don't want a lot of
wedding pictures of old people covering their ears and
squinting.

good ideas everyone! keep em coming! we will probably need
around 4 hours worth of music. BOC was a great suggestion.
Any other afx and non-afx song suggestons would be great.

I see I'm not the only one not feeling Avril 14th...

suggestion: Plaid - New Family (no pun intended the song is
perfect for the scenario =)
