I find it comforting that at least 90% of this board will get that reference. Other boards I go to, nobody but maybe 1 if i'm lucky will know what that's from or even be familiar with Richard. On the same token though it makes me feel generic. I doubt there's any band/musician I listen to that at least a handful of people here are also into. At least at other boards I have 'obscure" music taste or something along those lines. to them, but here it's just par for the course. |

i love smash, i lived off it when i was a student it actually tastes better than real potato except when you don't mix it properly and there's lumps and dry bits, but its your fault of course [children talking] |

yeah with butter in! but yeah, you've got to mix it in properly and its hard to get the right consistency. I also used to scold myself on water in the dish trying to mix it |

Yeah, mashed potatoes are the shit. I love mixing it with corn or dipping french fries, bread or meat into it. If you're lazy like me buy the Bob Evans microwave-able mashed potatoes. 5 minutes and BAM. |
