anyone see it? opinions? movies are becoming more and
more realistic thru the evolution of the art... not
realistic in that the story is plausible, but in the
legitimacy of the emotions, ideas and the overall expereince
conveyed. if art is the process of manifesting physically
something that needs to be expressed by one or more
persons/entities, then i'd say the manifestations are
becoming more and more accurate and clear. this film is
perfect example of this phenomenon. before long our insides
will be pouring forth into the world in full, and art and
life will be one, as it already is. can we now accept this?

I´ve seen it..its mexican...marivel verdu (the woman) is
spanish, I saw it last winter, its a good movie...
absolutely true what you said about emotion´s legitimacy.
is just a thought in depth of lots of feelings... what i
liked best it the way they showed us a teen friendship, how
strong and weak can it be... but still I dont understand
some of the things the woman did...

What parts confused you? Everything Luisa did made sense to
me once I found out the news at the end (don't want to give
it away for anyone who might see it).

It was amazing, I agree with both of you, especially the
grasp on teenage relationship and growth. It had a really
deep impact on me, being a teenager.

I would really like to see it again, to anaylize the
people's actions and the movie's ideas already knowing the
plot.
