no... but hey Aminal... I did purchase a mixer :) it's a
Behringer MX 802A... not the best mixer in the world... but
I think it'll get the job done... right now... i don't have
a power supply for it... so once that comes... i'll be
hitting the recording non-stop!

thank you for expressing interest...

but anywho...

GOD DAMN FAT CONTROLLER IS FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!!! :)

Fat Controller is great. I want Cooper's World to be played
at my funeral.

im trying to get him into squarepusher... then use that as a
gateway drug to eventually get him hooked on all 'idm'

so far he this []pushers only "ok".. he still cant recognise
how really different it is from normal drum n bass....

he doesn't like him enough to steal the cd

Ah, well it was a joke anyway. I remember the first time I
heard SP. Since then, I bought every one of his releases
that I could get a hold of.

its one of those albums I love so much I don't know whether
I want everyone to hear it or to keep it just to myself like
a big secret =)

why is it that sometimes we want to keep good music in
secret? i mean, we dont want it to become popular...why is
that?

offline B3n from Manchester (United Kingdom) on 2002-06-09 15:18 [#00256907]

possibly a fear of over exposure which will lead to everyone
listening to it. its not being elitest, but that often
success for an artist changes their values and directions
which has a negative effect on the music.

Sometimes it feels like they just made it for you. Like it's
your gift from them or something -- even though that's
obviously not true.

yeah, also that. sometimes you feel like you've got a
connection with the music and want to believe only you are
on the same level with it
