I seriously went insane when I saw that Aphex Twin was
nominated for best male!!!

Before I even saw the nominees, the name came out of my
mouth "Robbie Williams [will win]" because that guy is so
fucking popular over there. When I saw that Aphex Twin was
nominated, and I saw a clip of one of his videos (what video
WAS that?), I freaked out.

You've just got to understand that electronica is still a
very obscure genre, especially here in North America, and
when references made to its prominent figures like that,
apparant recognition of electronic music's very existence,
always gets me excited. . .

Even after seeing that Richard was nominated, I still knew
that Robbie would win, and of course he did.

That got me very upset though; ask yourself: who IS a
better British male (since that technically was the
category; "Best British Male"):

ROBBIE WILLIAMS OR RICHARD. D. JAMES?

RDJ is of course the winner, which leaves a bitter thing
that does not need to be said:

ROBBIE WILLIAMS WAS SELECTED OVER RDJ NOT BECAUSE HE'S
BETTER, MORE TALENTED, OR ANY OF THOSE ASPECTS, BUT ONLY
BECAUSE IS IS MORE POPULAR. ;_;

It was fun. They played the 'Druqks' promo. Search for the
Brits and you'll find many threads.

Actually Richard probably didn't give a shit, or maybe he
did? Oh well, I just think to myself about how COOL it
would have been if he HAD have won and he stepped up there
to accept the award. . . that would have been the best day
in my entire life!!!!

yeah, what was it the host called him? The Cornwall
Krafterwerk or something? That was cool, and it seemed
sincere that he knew who Aphex Twin was... at least I
thought so...

Agrees with The_Funkmaster 500%...Nice of the host at least
knowing who RDJ was...I'm very sure he didn't care if he won
or not,he will always have our support...As for
RobbieW,hmmm, well,he will desappear from music scene and
won't be remembered for much,he's not a musician,he didn't
do anything new..==)
