Portugal 2 USA 3 , Suwon (Reuters)
Ramon Padilla from Sacramento said the win would make people in the United States sit up and take notice.
"There are a lot of sports in the United States and now there is a new one," he said.
(From www.cnn.com) let me guess, it doesn't count as a sport until you win ? what are you gonna call this new sport ? :D

i dont think they noticed how UTTERLY CRAP Portugal were. They stunk completely, i mean the second goal was a complete gift, they may as well should have picked it up and given it to them.

Living in Miami which deals with a lot of people in different races....Soccer is loved here. You can go down to South Beach and a bunch of people wearing their country's colors are screaming and acting crazy. I'm a soccer fan. It's an awesome sport to watch.
