Does anyone here use Linux? If so, what kind?

My primary machine is Solaris, but I use SuSE Linux, FreeBSD
and NetBSD occasionally.

You can get decent UltraSparc desktops for under $200 on
ebay, and if you go dumpster diving in Silicon Valley, you
can probably find vanloads of old Sun pizzaboxes. :)

But Suns suck bigtime for audio/video unless you're willing
to pay $$$$, that's why I have the spare Linux box.

Please don't let this turn into one of those 'my operating
system is better than yours' topic!

I'm happy with Win XP Pro.

I've got Redhat 7.2 and Mandrake 8.2 ...

I must say that the new Mandrake is a wicked distro.
Perhaps not for servers.

I guess that's it, that's the end of my post. To recap, I
have two distributions of Linux, one Redhat the other
Mandrake.

I try to always run a Windows box and a RedHat box, but I've
only got one working computer right now, so I've had to
scrap Linux for a while. So, I'm using Win 98.

Hmm... I've got Windows 98, and that's all I've EVER used...
never even touched anything that has any other OS on it. Not
Macs, no nothing...

Too afraid to leave the comfortable nest you've created with
just using one OS?
