OK, I read or heard somewhere that they are releasing "Lord
of the Rings" on DVD soon...but they are gonaa REALEASE the
"DIRECTOR"S CUT" in NOvember?

NO I am not one to go and buy both and I would just as well
wait...Anyone know if this is true?....Call me a cheap
bastard, but I fucking hate when shit gets re-released and
re-packaged on DVD and I have already bought it.....

definitely a bitch move, i hate when companies do that. like
the expanded 'memento' that just came out; the other version
(which was already pretty generous with bonus features) came
out less than a year ago. besides the regular version
there's also a 2 disc 'clerks' but there's going to be a
"super ultimate" edition coming out in 2003 that'll be the
end-all be-all kevin smith dvd. very irritating.
